CCA Chess Tournaments

GMs Gabriel Sargissian and Jaan Ehlvest played an Armageddon Blitz Play-Off to decide the title of Chicago Open 2009 Champion after both players finished with 5½/7 in the tournament.

Sargissian, having the better tie-breaks, chose to have the white pieces with 5 minutes, giving Ehlvest the black pieces, 3 minutes and draw odds.  A 5 second delay was in effect for the whole game, which you can watch on the video below.
