Continental Open 2011

The 41st Annual Continental Open was held from August 11-14, 2011 at the Host Hotel at Cedar Lake, Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

Grandmaster Tamaz Gelashvili breezed through the competition to finish a full point ahead of his nearest rivals, finishing with an unbeaten 5½/6. The only blemish on his record was a quick draw in round 5 against his Georgian compatriot, GM Giorgi Kacheishvili.
